Our Suited Connections poker player management staff has been working within the poker industry for over six years now. During this time we have negotiated deals for both poker players and poker sites. Suited Connections has also been on the forefront of poker player related promotions with several major poker magazines, publications and websites. Additionally, we've developed profound personal and working relationships with clients and individuals throughout the poker community.
Katie Lindsay graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a Bachelors in English and minor in Communications. She then went on to work in TV casting and production over the next year with such networks as MTV, NBC, VH1 and FOX, while playing poker for fun on the side. In 2005 she decided to transition into poker full time and began writing for Poker Pro Magazine. Within a year she was promoted to lead writer. In 2008 she started the company Suited Connections and has since gone on to negotiate numerous major long term deals within the poker industry and works with the top poker sites on a daily basis.
Chris Lindsay graduated from Florida State University in 1997, earning a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. Working and perfecting skills as a web programmer, Chris took a position with the prestigious College of Arts and Sciences as their Coordinator of Computer Systems for the Dean's office and remained there for 3 years. Upon his departure from Florida State Chris was offered a job from the Coca-Cola Company web team to be their lead developer, and worked with them for the next 7 years. After nearly 10 years and armed with an experienced mind-set for business success, Chris joined the Suited Connections team in late 2008 and handles player sponsorship around the world.
Mark is a partner at Schmidlkofer, Toth & Loeb, LLC and General Counsel for Suited Connections. After living in Florida during his early years, Mark’s family returned to the Brookfield, WI area where he attended Marquette University, and received a Bachelors degree in Marketing. During his collegiate years, Mark was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity where he served as President, Philanthropy Chairman and Vice President of Finance. Mark, along with the Milwaukee Bucks and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southeastern Wisconsin, directed one of Marquette University student body’s largest fundraisers to date. Mark's passion and desire was to pursue a legal career developed so he returned to Marquette in 1998 as a law student (J.D. 2001). Following graduation, Mark became an associate at the general practice law firm where he had clerked while he was a law student. In 2002, Mark authored an appellate brief on a municipal violation that was subsequently published by the Court of Appeals. In 2005, Mark, Attorney Basil M. Loeb and Attorney Scott A. Schmidlkofer started Schmidlkofer, Toth & Loeb, LLC. In 2008 Mark joined Suited Connections, as Lead General Council and is responsible for drafting and reviewing all client legal and contractual agreements.
Doug is originally from Louisville, KY and a recent graduate from University of Kentucky, earning business degree in Marketing with and emphasis in sports marketing. He joined Suited Connections in the Summer of 2009 as one of three interns brought on for the WSOP Main Event, working tireless hours brokering sponsorships for players right in the middle of all the action, as it happened. He currently lives in Las Vegas with roommate and friend Billy Kopp, who also introduced and has mentored Doug to the game of poker over the years. Also while a student at UK, Doug was a member of the Boxing team and has proven he can roll with the punches in the poker industry.
